Letraset Tria vs. Zig KureColor
I’m having problem whether to buy the Letraset Tria or the Zig Kurecolor Markers. These are the medium option that we can use in our portfolio for our class. Last Saturday my professor showed us how to use this Zig Kurecolor twin pen marker, I was really amazed how fast and convenient this pen marker is for designers instead of using the Prang watercolor or the Faber Castell color pencils.
Thing is, the Zig Kurecolor cost about P115+ and the Tria Letraset cost about P150 in the national market. Though the Tria has these 3 types of tips that you can use in your drawing and the Zig’s only got 2 tips. Addition to this, the Tria has more color variations unlike ZigKureColor has 106 + a blender. Both of these products are good but I’m still confused whether to buy this or not hahahah…
I’ll give an update on what I bought.

being a fashion illustrator, tria has been more effective with the watercolor finish… i have been collecting my kurecolor for years now, but since i learned about tria, i switched to it. kure is especially effective of tracing papers, having that transluscent effect on architectural sketches as an architect friend told me. so if you are illustrating for a specific purpose, you’ll figure out which one will work out for you better. ^_^
